What You Need

Three things. That's it.

  1. Your iPhone — any model from the last 4 years.
  2. A clip-on microphone — RØDE SmartLav+, DJI Mic Mini, or any lavalier under £100.
  3. A window — yes, a window.

Step 1 — The Setup (5 minutes)

Step 2 — The Frame (2 minutes)

Eyes ▸ upper third Chin ▸ lower third ▸ 9:16 vertical ▸ Grid ON Settings → Camera ▸ Headroom small gap above head ▸ Clean BG no lamps behind head

Rule-of-thirds framing: eyes upper third, chin lower third.

Step 3 — The Delivery (20 minutes)

We send you the script. Your job:

  1. Read it 3 times out loud before filming. Get the rhythm.
  2. Look straight into the lens — not the screen. The lens is your customer's eyes.
  3. Speak 10% slower and 20% louder than feels natural. Trust us.
  4. Smile before you start. It warms up your face, even on serious lines.
  5. Mess up? Keep rolling. Pause for 2 seconds, restart the sentence. We'll cut it.
  6. Three full takes per script. Gives our editors options.

Don't read robotically. Speak like you're explaining it to one client across a desk. Because you are.

Step 4 — The Send-Off
